In this subject Communications Systems, the student is presented with the theoretical and practical foundations of various telecommunications systems. These systems include: Satellite Communications, Radio Links, Radar Systems and Mobile Telephony.
For this purpose, theoretical and practical classes are given where the basic principles behind each technology are presented and at the same time different problems are posed that are as close to real life as possible, which require calculation and design of solutions. Finally, verifications are carried out on the efficiency of solutions. The verification methods can be carried out in field tests using measuring instruments or in a software simulation environment using real data/simulation.
