During the “Workshop of Machine Intelligence: Training and Applications to Regional Challenges” there will be a training activity called “School on Artificial Intelligence”. Two intensive courses will be offered under the scope of this school. The courses are intended for advanced undergraduate students, postgraduate students and young scientists with basic knowledge in programming and statistics.
Both courses* will take place each day during the afternoon, have a duration of two hours per course per day, and consist of theory and hands-on exercises:
Course 1. Introduction to Machine Learning. Lecturer: Dr. Jaume Bacardit (University of Newcastle)
Course 2. Computational Intelligence for Complex Optimization Problem. Lecturer: Dr. Natalio Krasnogor (University of Newcastle)
